Today, Attorney General Jim Hood announced that three more people have entered guilty pleas for their part in a state health insurance fraud case. In total, 14 people were charged in the case where Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi employees conspired with state employees. Seven recently pleaded guilty and four others have not plead or gone to trial. These state employees cashed checks and kicked back money to BCBS employees. These individuals stole more than $500,000.
